Know where your screenshots—and your purchase—stand.
Does ClipDock upload my screenshots?
No for normal capture and search. Your library stays local and OCR runs on your PC. Backups go only to a location you explicitly choose.
Is Pro a subscription?
New Pro purchases are a one-time purchase for permanent access. The local price is shown in Microsoft Store.
What about an existing annual subscription or trial?
Existing annual and trial licenses continue to be recognized for their Store-valid period. Annual is no longer offered to new customers; stopping acquisition also stops subscription renewals. Paid access lasts until the Store expiry. These licenses do not automatically become lifetime licenses. Existing images, manual backup, restore and basic export remain accessible after expiry.
Do Lifetime owners lose access?
No. Existing Lifetime owners keep permanent Pro access and can restore that entitlement through Microsoft Store.
Can I use ClipDock without Pro?
Yes. Free includes the core workbench, two custom workspaces, three floating references, basic annotation/export, manual backup and local OCR indexing for the first 100 successful images in this app profile.
Which Windows versions are supported?
ClipDock is built for Windows 10 and Windows 11 and installs through Microsoft Store.
Who handles purchase and restore?
Microsoft Store handles the purchase, local pricing and entitlement restore. Sign in with the purchasing account and use Settings → Pro → Refresh entitlements.
